LET'S End Gun Violence

Here is what I believe we can support to bills passed in Congress:

Weapons of War Ban aka Assault Weapons: Ban semi-automatic weapons  which are used as weapons of war and the magazines that hold more than 30 rounds. These weapons of war have been used in some of the deadliest mass shootings in the United States. There primary purpose for our military and local protection services for Business Owners, Federal Agencies, Police, and Sheriffs. 

Enhanced Background Checks Act:  Mia wants to Eliminate the "Charleston Gap," which allows firearms to be purchased before they are approved if the background check is three days past and payment has not been made, shortening the deadline to 10 days. For reference in 2015, nine black worshipers were killed at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina by a shooter who was allowed to buy guns through this loophole. Mia also wants to close Gun Show loopholes for semi-automatic weapons.

Bipartisan Background Checks Act: Requiring every sale of a firearm to include a background check with few exceptions to prevent guns from getting into the wrong hands.  Mia wants to ensure the folks whom are purchasing the weapon are also trained by the store owner, dealer, or license holder at a certifying weapon range to ensure the person's who wish to carry know the state laws and always weapon safety first.
